Voluntary Action in Spelthorne has been successful in a bid with the
BAA Communities Trust to deliver an initiative called the
YES! Project (Young, Enterprising people in Spelthorne)
This is an exciting new venture, a four month scheme beginning at the end of
April 2012, for 16 – 18 year olds who are not in school or college. They will develop new skills, a great CV and a better knowledge about the area in which they live.
The project includes: Designing leaflets and T-shirts for the YES! Project Gaining a Progression AwardBecoming a Youth Ambassador for SpelthorneLearning some very interesting facts about the area in which you liveFinding out what local businesses have to offer Understanding the importance of presentation skills

The Rotary Club of Shepperton and Sunbury has organised a 10k sponsored walk on along the “Waterways of Shepperton”.
